Lock-down is the new buzz word due to this terrible pandemic.
Our thoughts & prayers go out to all those people & families caught up in this devastating disease.
I am most fortunate where I live, in the middle of no-where in the Scottish Highlands.
I know I am in a most privileged position that I can walk about the croft without fear of meeting anyone, so my heart goes out to all of you, especially those of you with children who do not understand the reasons for being kept in-doors.
Unfortunately the others cannot come here as they are restricted in the cities, so we have not produced anything over the last wee while, much like a lot of other companies all over the country.
We are still a fledgling company, so we do not have the financial burdens other companies are facing at this time, good luck to you all hang tight, let’s hope you all come out of the tunnel unscathed.
I have spent the last couple of days wandering around the croft in the sunshine, as it has done nothing but rain over the last few months, so in a way we were locked-down as it never stopped bucketing it down.
We have been thinking of other flavours also, so I have been busy planting rare berry trees & fruit trees to try in small batches, when things get moving again.
I have been watching the Snowdrops, Daffs & Primroses popping up out of the ground.
Thinking about when we will be making our next batch of Gin.
The trees are also bursting out all over, unlike human kind, which I hope will not be too much longer.
